New Mexico Department of Agriculture
In 2006, New Mexico led pecan production in the United States with a 46 million pound crop valued at $85 million surpassing Georgia and Texas. New Mexico's own Dona Ana County is the top pecan-producing county in the United States.

We invite you to visit New Mexico's Farmers' Markets, offering you the freshest fruits and vegetables available anywhere. Meet the people who grow your food - face to face - and enjoy the vibrant flavors, aromas and colors of the New Mexico harvest.
The Southwest Marketing Network
This is a collaborative network dedicated to increasing agricultural marketing skills for farmers and ranchers in the Southwest. One of its New Mexico-based members - Farm to Table - is instrumental in Farm to School in the Southwest. Additionally FTT and SWMN have been chosen as the Regional Lead Agency for the National Farm to School Network.

Cooking With Kids, Inc.
Cooking with Kids engages elementary school children in hands-on learning with fresh, affordable foods from diverse cultures. Students are encouraged to explore many varieties of foods using all of their senses, to have fun, and to exercise choice.
