National Farm to School Network is a project of Tides Center, the nation’s largest fiscal sponsor. Open positions

Program Fellow
The Program Fellow will support multiple aspects of NFSN’s programmatic initiatives aimed at equitably advancing the farm to school movement, with a focus on farm to school/ECE evaluation. The fellow will gain experience in resource creation, project evaluation, virtual networking and facilitation, and partner capacity building, all with a prioritization of racial and social equity as a key tenet in farm to school and ECE. This is a fully remote, twelve-month, temporary position. The full position description is available here.

Policy Intern
National Farm to School Network seeks a part-time Policy Intern to support implementation of NFSN’s policy advocacy priorities. The Policy Intern will assist the Policy Director to promote policies that advance NFSN’s Call to Action and engage our Partner organizations through policy research and analysis, development of policy resources for use by Partner organizations, and coordination of educational opportunities for Partner organizations. This is a fully remote temporary position through May 2022. The full position description is available here.

National Farm to School Network (NFSN) is accepting applications for a Communications Intern to support content development and dissemination of information and resources to partners and general membership. Reporting to the Communications Director, the Communications Intern will work closely with NFSN staff and partners, gaining hands-on experience in digital media and farm to school programming. This is a part-time, temporary position (12 months or less) working remotely approximately 10 hours per week.

NFSN seeks a Communications Director to develop and implement the organization’s strategic communications efforts in alignment with its mission, vision, and core values. The Communications Director will report directly to the Senior Director of Finance and Operations, supervise the Communications Manager and Communications Intern, and interface with NFSN staff, funders, consultants, and network partners. This is a full-time, regular exempt position working remotely approximately 40 hours per week.

National Farm to School Network (NFSN) seeks a Communications Manager to manage and implement a strategic messaging and public awareness building campaign for Values-Aligned Universal School Meals. The Communications Manager will report directly to the Communications Director and work closely with the project team and communications firm to develop, manage, and implement outreach content, and to track progress for campaign goals and metrics. This is a full time (40 hours/week), limited term position for a campaign that ends February 28, 2023, with the possibility of continuation pending additional campaign phases.
