Benefits of Local Food Purchasing Incentives

As farm to school programs have evolved over the past several decades, Local Food Purchasing Incentives (LFPIs) have grown in interest and adoption in states across the country. These programs provide additional funding to child nutrition program (CNP) operators to directly offset or incentivize local food purchases.
